2024 Date Letter

Introducing the 2024 date letter

The date letter for 2024 is a lowercase "Z". This is the last letter in this font set, before we restart with the new letter "A" on January 1st 2025.

A non-compulsory mark, the date letter changes at all UK Assay Offices on the 1st of January each year. The font, case, and shield shape all change once the alphabet has been completed, making each letter mark unique to a single year.
